There has always been a lot of talk about vaccines, and we are seeing the conversation happening again with the anticipation of a vaccine for COVID-19. Vaccines have been created to reduce the risk of preventable diseases, and they have been used in children (and adults) all over the world to help battle off viruses such as measles, pertussis, and rubella. They do not come without their controversy, with many now refusing the vaccinate their children. However, the facts do not lie.
