It’s 2020, and paper bags have officially been tossed by the wayside for the more favorable, more Eco-friendly, and more Instagram-able bento boxes. Bento boxes are a Japanese-inspired way of packing lunch. Instead of having multiple containers in one bag, the idea is to have all of your food in one separated container. One US study says that from ages 2-11, anywhere between 13% and 22% of kids are picky eaters. Preschoolers, in particular, are reported as being the most picky, with another study stating that up to 50% of 3-5 year olds are considered picky by their parents. If you’re struggling with a picky eater, making lunches can seem like an impossible feat.
