Babies with healthier diets are more active and sleep better – new findings

The Conversation – Sinead Brophy, Michaela James, and Shang-Ming Zhou

Physical activity is important at all stages of life. It prevents obesity, improves well-being and reduces the risk of many chronic conditions, such as heart disease, arthritis and diabetes. And now our study of babies’ activity levels has shown how different factors, including sleep and diet, link together to improve baby health from the day they are born. https://theconversation.com/babies-with-healthier-diets-are-more-active-and-sleep-better-new-findings-109477
