It looks like we now have a timeline for when we can expect our children to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The world has been waiting patiently for a vaccine so that our lives can return to some resemblance of normal. While a vaccine likely won’t be the cure that causes an immediate end to the pandemic, it is the biggest tool we are going to have against the virus. Several vaccine manufacturers have stated that their vaccine is incredibly effective with no serious complications of side effects noted.

Children practicing and competing in most sports during the COVID-19 pandemic should wear cloth face coverings, according to updated guidance issued Friday from the American Academy of Pediatrics. The AAP said cloth face masks have been shown to decrease COVID-19 transmission and the majority of people who wear them for exercise have been able to tolerate the coverings.
