As a parent, it’s important to make an effort to get to know your kid’s friends. As your children get older, they’ll have more of a life outside of the home with some friends. It’s certainly a change but they’re still your child. It’s up to you to make sure they’re surrounding themselves with the right people and not giving in to peer pressure or doing anything else they shouldn’t be doing. Of course, knowing your kid’s friends won’t prevent this but it may make it easier to spot if anything is going on.

Now, one year into the pandemic almost half of parents are reporting that their kids now spend six hours a day on screens. That is a huge increase that is both concerning and unsurprising.
