Ed Source – Karen D’Souza

Donise Keller, a child care provider in Antioch, takes care of a little boy coping with some developmental delays. The 3½-year-old doesn’t talk very much, and he doesn’t enjoy interacting with other children. Eating Disorder Symptoms Reduced By Strong Family Bond

Moms- Ashley Wehrli

A new study has found that eating disorder symptoms are reduced when there is a strong family link. Eating disorders are being fought every day, around the world, by a lot of adults and youth. They are complex mental health issues, and part of the “cause” could be the constant pressure by social media for young girls (and boys) to appear a certain way in order to be “pretty” or “perfect.” However, they can be extremely damaging, and they can even be fatal, so it is always important to look into what can be done to help those who are suffering.

Children also tend to go through phases where they love a certain type of food, and then they want nothing to do with it the next day. Since nutritious food is vital for a child’s wellbeing and development, studies are always being done to look at this phenomenon.

Yes, it’s that time of year, and on Sunday, March 13, daylight saving time will begin. Sure it’s a minor inconvenience to folks who don’t have kiddos — I guess you do lose an hour of sleep. But have you ever tried to wrestle a toddler or preschooler into bed when the sun is still shining outside and in their brains, it’s only 6:30 p.m. instead of 7:30 p.m. and they want to watch just one more (read ten more) episodes of Daniel Tiger? I know this isn’t just our family.
