Study Says Obese Teens Have A Smaller Part Of The Brain Which Controls Impulsive Reactions

Moms – Lilee Williams

All moms want their children to be healthy, but as obesity continues to be a big problem for children and teens, it’s a difficult issue for parents to tackle. Researchers are still working on the issue, as childhood obesity is considered an epidemic which impacts one in five kids in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It’s not just about eating habits and exercise — other factors include genetics, metabolism, community design, sleep issues and any childhood trauma.
