Moms – Megan Glosson
Sleep is a problem for so many of us these days. In fact, sleep deprivation is at an all-time high for most American adults, and our sleep issues have been progressively getting worse since the 1980s. However, adults aren’t the only ones missing out on sleep it seems. The Savvy Sleeper recently surveyed over 1,000 parents with children between the ages of 5 and 18 about their family’s bedtime and sleep habits. What they found was that even young children struggle to meet the minimum recommended hours of sleep for their age. Even small amounts of missed sleep can result in more severe and long-lasting problems for children.
