Parenting a child with ADHD is tough. Your preschooler has a harder time paying attention, following directions, and waiting to take turns, among other things, says Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD). While they thrive on structure and stability, 2020 hasn’t offered much of that. Throughout the year, schools have opened only to close again or close part-time. Parents have had to take on a more involved role in their child’s education. Our kids are learning remotely and aching for time with their friends.
