Parents know how important proper nutrition is for children. While it might not always be easy to get kids to eat their fruits, vegetables, and proteins, it’s much easier to monitor and control a child’s diet when they’re younger. When kids are babies, toddlers, and even pre-teens it’s the parent who is typically buying and preparing all meals and snacks, but when kids get older it can be a bit more challenging. Teens are often more in control of what they choose to eat and often are able to buy their own snacks and make their school lunches, so it’s important that they are still making healthy choices and ensuring they are getting proper nutrition.
