The current recommendation for kids getting outdoors and being physically active is 60 minutes per day, according to the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Be it running around, swimming, playing games, or the like, whatever keeps kids active is good for both their bodies and their minds. And while this is the recommendation, there are some kids who want to take that time and put in a workout with their parents. Something that many parents would like to encourage but not many know what the appropriate age is for kids to start exercising.
