From a young age, a child learns proper eating habits, such as what they should eat and when, and how. A child learns proper or improper nutrition by the consumption of those around them. If a child grows up in a home where meals and snacks consist of fresh fruits and vegetables, and well balanced portions full of vitamins and proteins, they will grow up with a guide that steers them into making the right decision. If they grow up in a household where eating cereals full of sugar for breakfast and burgers for lunch is normal, their eating habits will be less desirable. It is important to model the proper eating habits you want to instill in your child from a young age.
