The word “obey” seems like such a strong word, and it is, but there is importance to it in the world. We all have moments where we need to obey, and this could be a matter of keeping a job or staying safe. We need to abide by certain sets of rules and guidelines to make sure that we are living a healthy, stable, and safe life. The idea of “obeying” starts in childhood, when we are told to do things by our parents. It is our first experience of being told what to do, and it is important that rules are followed.
