A new study has found that almost 30% of US teenagers have “prediabetes,” and this can be concerning. The health of teenagers is a very serious concern for a lot of parents out there. The rates of childhood obesity are rising, and a global pandemic has not helped. Being overweight can come with a lot of health issues, and it is important that they are addressed and studies can help society see just what the problem is, and hopefully work towards a solution. Many don’t see diabetes as a problem for “youth,” but that may be changing and parents are paying attention.
