Study Finds Children With Autism Face Higher Risk Of Eating Disorders

Research done by University College London has shown that autistic kids face higher risks of developing eating disorders. A past study showed that one could suffer autism as well as eating disorders at the same time. Researchers discovered that 20-30% of adults who had eating disorders also had autism, and 3-10% of juveniles with an eating disorder had autism. However, it’s still unclear if autism causes eating disorders or vice versa.
