Time spent by children online linked to requests for junk food

Young children who spent more than half an hour a day online were almost twice as likely to pester their parents for junk food, according to a new report published today (Wednesday, 17 October). The study, which examines the associations between diet and advertising of junk food on TV and the internet, questioned children and their parents in the North West and across the UK. (more)
